The Main tenets of Freire's critical pedagogy are the relationship between the oppressor and the oppressed most importantly, how the oppressor used knowledge and social skills to stay ahead of the oppressed and belittle them. Freirs then expresses how only struggling people can liberate themselves instead of getting released. However, due to the never-ending cycle of the oppresses becoming the oppressor, liberation can be more complex than it seems. Freire's educational theory also mentions the banking system, how a teacher teaches, and how the students react to those teachings. The banking system ties in with problem-posing education and how the teacher and student connection can affect learning. In this scenario, the teacher is the oppressor who can change the student's life depending on how the students are taught.
